Ooredoo Maldives Hosts North Edition of SMB Meetup in HDh. Kulhudhufushi

Ooredoo Maldives has hosted its Small & Medium Businesses (SMB) Meetup in HDh. Kulhudhuffushi as part of the North edition of the initiative. The meetup was organized in association with Kulhudhufushi City Council and saw the participation of multiple SMBs and entrepreneurs based in the northern province of the country. Through this meetup, Ooredoo Maldives provided a platform for businesses to network, exchange ideas and feedback and pursue potential partnerships and collaborations.

Speaking on the occasion, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Ooredoo Maldives, Mr. Khalid Al Hamadi remarked “We believe that SMBs play an integral role in building our community and are an important contributor to the economy. Earlier this year, we started this initiative with the aim to enable SMBs in the Maldives through digital solutions and power sustainable business growth. We are delighted to bring this forum to the north of Maldives and engage with businesses and entrepreneurs in the region”.

During the event, a designated webpage for Small and Medium Businesses was launched which will provide easy access and support for businesses in their needs. The webpage was inaugurated by the MD & CEO of Ooredoo Maldives, Mr. Khalid Al Hamadi together with the Chief Commercial Officer of Ooredoo Maldives, Mr. Hussain Niyaz and Kulhudhufushi City Mayor, Mr. Mohamed Athif.

The Kulhudhufushi City Mayor, Mr. Mohamed Athif commented “We are excited to partner with Ooredoo Maldives and extend our support for this initiative to empower businesses through digital solutions for sustainable growth. Transforming businesses in the region through digitalisation will greatly boost the growth of the island community and its economy”.
