With Over 500 Gamers Ooredoo Maldives PUBG Contender Series 2 Has Begun

On Sunday night, Ooredoo Nation kick-started their second edition of the Contender Series in the Ooredoo Maldives PUBG Championship. A total of 89 teams with more than 500 gamers are participating in Contender Series 2, hoping to advance to the main championship and win the sensational prize pool of 100k. The participating teams are divided into 5 groups during the tournament, playing against each other and advancing forward.

The Contender Series 2 is the second PUBG qualifier tournament of the series that paves the road for the grand finale set to be held in December 2022. Alluring players with an astonishing prize money of 100K, the best of the qualifiers will combat each other for the title in the grand finals. A third Contender Series will take place on October with 3 more teams making it to the main event as well.

The second edition of Contender Series also features an impressive prize pool with the champion, runner-up and 2nd runner-up taking a share of the 15K prize pool. The title taker will take home MVR 10,000 while the runner-up is presented with MVR 3000. The 3rd winner receives a cash money of MVR 2000 too. The top 3 teams in the series will then automatically qualify for the Ooredoo PUBG Mobile Championship, marking their place in the final battleground.
