Vice President Inspects Developmental Trajectory Of Social And Healthcare Projects In Hulhumale’

 
Yesterday, Vice President Faisal Naseem toured and inspected several development projects in Hulhumale’ targeted at the Social and Healthcare sector. Among the places the Vice President visited include the General Practitioner Service Centre, currently under development in the Hiya towers and the Mental Health Centre being constructed in Hulhumale’ Hospital. He also inquired and oversaw arrangements being made for public viewing of the FIFA World Cup 2022 matches in Hulhumale’.

In addition to this, the Vice President paid a visit to the allocated land plots in Hulhumale’ for the State Trading Organisation (STO) and the Waste Management Corporation Ltd. (WAMCO). During the visit, he met with senior management of both places and asked about the progress of operations.

Moreover, he also toured the parking zone and bus stops near Vinares flats in phase 2 developed by the State Electric Company Ltd. (STELCO). The parking zone will accommodate for heavy vehicles being used in the area.

The General Practitioner Service Centre is situated in Hiya Tower H16 and is developed under joint collaborations of National Planning, Housing & Infrastructure, Hulhumale’ Hospital and Housing Development Corporation (HDC). The centre would facilitate increased capacity and pave way for more accessible health services in the Greater Male’ region.
