First Lady Launches Algorithmics In The Maldives

First Lady Fazna Ahmed launched the Algorithmics in the Maldives at a ceremony held on Sunday. She was accompanied by Minister of Environment, Climate Change & Technology, Aminath Shauna during the ceremony.

Constituting of an international network of coding schools, Algorithmics teaches kids aged 6-17 years old visual programming, python and game design. With the vision of providing futuristic education, the organization deems programming the skill of the 21st century.

Algorithmics tutor children on how to create computer programmes as well as develop and broaden their logical thinking, curiosity and creativity. With a combination of both offline and online education, the classes are conducted in a fun and interactive manner.

With a team of professionals who loves to engage with children and make learning simple, Algorithmics Maldives also strives to introduce children to the field of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).

Worldwide, the global network has over 300,000 graduates from 77 different countries. Building both academic and critical life skills such as organization, perseverance and problem solving, Algorithmics Maldives hopes to immerse children in a world of algorithms, bugs and queues-developing their analytical skills and widening their creativity as well.
