Bank Of Maldives Opens ATM Centres In Filladhoo And Vashafaru Of Haa Alif Atoll

Yesterday, Bank of Maldives (BML) announced that they have opened Self Service Banking ATM Centres in two islands of Haa Alif Atoll, namely Filladhoo and Vashafaru. The ATM centres were opened as part of the bank’s strategy to support local communities through expansion of banking services.

In Vashafaru and Filladhoo, the ATM centres will cater for the residents and businesses by allowing them to withdraw, deposit and transfer money around the clock on a 24/7 basis. This would lead to an ease in the day-to-day transactions of the people.

While speaking on the occasion, BML’s In-charge and Acting MD, Aishath Noordeen remarked that they are delighted to support the communities of Filladhoo and Vashafaru by making banking more accessible. She further added that via the establishment of the ATM centres, residents and local businesses of both islands can now enjoy seamless banking experiences.

With more than 35 branches across 20 atolls, Bank of Maldives is the largest card issuing and acquiring bank in the Maldives. Boasting a customer base exceeding 300,000 and 7,900 merchants, the bank features 82 Self Service Banking Centres, 140 ATMS and 200+ agents all over the country.
