President Solih Embarks On An Official Visit To Five Islands Of Mulaku Atoll

This Morning, President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih departed on an official trip to visit five islands in the Mulaku Atoll. During his trip, he would visit islands of Raiymandhoo, Maduvvari, Dhiggaru, Veyvah and Muli in Mulaku Atoll.

As part of his official visit, the President will host meetings with members from the Mulaku Atoll Council as well as the respective councils of each island. He would also meet with the Women’s Development Committees during his visit to the islands. In addition to this, President Solih will interact with the island communities and inspect the progress of currently ongoing developmental projects in the islands. Furthermore, he is set to tour and pay a visit to various public offices and institutions within the islands.

During his visit to Veyvah, the President would attend the inauguration ceremony of the newly redeveloped harbour and powerhouse in Veyvah. Moreover, he would also be attending a ceremony in Dhiggaru, held to commemorate the completion of the coastal protection project.

Accompanying the president on this official trip is a delegation of government officials. The President will conclude his 3-day trip on Monday and return back to Male'.
