Dhiraagu Partners With MOMS NGO To Support “Back To School” Programme

On Sunday, Dhiraagu announced that it has joined with the Non-Governmental Organisation, MOMS in order to provide assistance to their “Back to School 2022” Programme. Dhiraagu undertook this partnership by adhering to their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts which strives to support the community. The “Back to School 2022” Programme aims to provide compulsory school essentials to vulnerable families in the Maldives.

The school essentials provided under this programme include shoes, socks and uniform kits for some of the families registered with MOMS’ care list. These are families who have been struggling to provide their children with all the requirements necessary for a new academic year in school.

Through this initiative, MOMS NGO has distributed 134 care packages across the country to those families in need. The programme is also funded by other generous donations from volunteers as well.

MOMS is an NGO that aids and supports vulnerable families in the Maldivian society with school children. This includes families where the breadwinner is mothers who are widowed or single-mothers with no family support.

Dhiraagu is dedicated in helping and supporting programmed-based initiatives targeted at children and empowering communities.
