Youth Vision is an art workshop hosted by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Maldives in collaboration with the European Union (EU), Ministry of Youth, Sports & Community Empowerment and Ooredoo Maldives. It will be held full virtually for a period of 8 days in December 2020. From this, 5 days will be contact days whereas the remaining 3 days will be offline in which participants will work individually. Each day, the workshop will run from 9am to 6pm.
The Youth Vision will be a perfect blend of arts and existing social issues in our community. For ones having interest in both the areas this indeed is the golden opportunity. Any youth (you need not to be an artist) between the ages of 16 to 25 are eligible to participate. Interested youths can lodge applications online at this link. Mainly, the workshop is a platform to find your inner artist and create a unique piece of art reflecting your own stories and experiences. You will be guided and mentored on different mediums of art, mainly focusing on; 2D art, photography, multimedia, mixed media and creative writing.
Upon being registered for the workshop, all participants will be provided with an Art Kit comprising of basic essential materials and 3G connectivity for the duration of the workshop.
