Allied Insurance Employees Are Lending A Hand To Make Kuda Giri Picnic Island Greener

With the Kuda Giri picnic island set to open this coming Independence day, Allied Insurance has joined the latest preparations leading up to the big reveal! Kuda Giri is a picnic island developed by the Maldivian Government in association with Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) and Housing Development Corporation (HDC).


 
Allied Insurance joined the preparations under their company’s social responsibility structure, “Green for Good”. More than 60 employees of the company belonging to different organizational structures participated in the tree planting event held last week.
 
Talking about this project, officials from the company stated that they are elated to witness their employees setting good examples for others by taking part in the company’s initiatives towards social responsibility. They also remained hopeful that the company will be of service to the people and the environment in the future as well, and added that Allied is currently working to develop a social work structure that is compatible with their service quality.


 
Allied Insurance has always taken an interest in the environment and have tried to make the company as green as possible. This includes going paperless, by bringing digitalized changes to its services and creating awareness towards digital applications to make services more accessible. In addition to this, the “Green for Good” pledges were launched in 2019 which strives to make the workplace as eco-friendly as possible. Allied Insurance is dedicated to continue working towards sustainable development through these pledges.
