President Appoints Two New High-Profile Candidates for Ministry of Foreign Affairs

On Wednesday, July 21^st, President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih officially recognized Mr Ahmed Shiaan as the new Chief of Protocol at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ms Aishath Shaan Shakir as the new Republic of Maldives Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany.
 
The ceremony took place at the President’s Office in Male’ City. Aishath Shaan Shakir, the Republic of Maldives' new ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany, was formerly the ministry of foreign affairs' chief of protocol. Ahmed Shiaan, who has just been named the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Chief of Protocol, most recently held the position of Additional Secretary.
