Nations Celebrated Telecom Giant, Dhiraagu, Receives ’50 Years of Tourism’ Award by MATI

Dhiraagu has been given the "50 Years of Tourism Award by MATI" in recognition of the company's contribution to the growth and innovation of the Maldives' tourism industry through the nation's telecommunications infrastructure in developing countries.
 
At the 50 Years of Maldives Tourism Awards ceremony by MATI held last night at Kurumba Maldives, Dhiraagu CEO & MD, Mr Ismail Rasheed, accepted the honor. The ceremony, which was attended by pioneers and important players in the tourism industry who are recognized for their ongoing efforts to advance the industry, was presided over by the President of the Maldives, Ibrahim Mohamed Solih.
 
“We are extremely honored to receive this award, and thank the Maldives Association of Tourism Industries (MATI) for recognizing Dhiraagu’s contribution in the development of the tourism industry in the Maldives” sharing his gratitude is Mr Ismail Rasheed, CEO & MD at Dhiraagu. “Dhiraagu has always maintained a strong and symbiotic relationship with the tourism industry and together we have played a key role in developing the country, enriching lives of our people and communities.
