Exciting News As MTCC Further Extends Their Bus Fleet! Bringing in 36 Mini Buses as Promised

A fleet of 36 minibuses has been delivered to the Maldives by the Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC). Out of the 41 buses that MTCC bought, 36 were delivered in the first shipment on July 16; the remaining 5 buses will be delivered by July 18.

This month, the minibus services will start in three atolls: Addu City, Fuvahmulah City, and Laamu atoll. The company is preparing to begin mini bus operations in Male' City on July 31, according to CEO Adam Azim. In Male' City, 12 of the 41 buses will be in use. These little buses can hold 20 to 25 people, and they are also built to make it simple for those with impairments to board and exit.

Additionally, Mr. Adam Azim, the CEO of MTCC, emphasized that for the mini bus operation to run successfully, the public's support would be necessary. He warned the people not to park in locations that are not allocated for parking and advised them to abide by traffic restrictions to ensure a smoother flow.
