MV MSS Graphene Joins the Fleet of Vessels of State Shipping, Marking a Historic Day!

State Trading Organization (STO) and Maldives State Shipping (MSS), a division of STO, have signed a contract to officially purchase their newest addition to their fleet of vessels, MV MSS Graphene. Mr Hussain Amru, the Managing Director of STO signed with the Managing Director of German company, Candler, Mr Jonas Keller on Friday afternoon during a formal ceremony held at STO's headquarters. Mr Abdulla Saeed, the Managing Director of MSS was also there to witness the signing ceremony.
 
The recently acquired vessel has a capacity of 680 unloaded and 420 loaded containers and will be in operations this August 2022. The new fleet will facilitate direct cargo service between Maldives, Singapore, & Malaysia as informed by MSS. MV MSS Graphene will be the promising beginning of direct cargo service between Maldives, Singapore, & Malaysia. This will commemorate as a remarkable step towards STO’s ambitious vision to expand their services to the international sphere.
