Sh. Bilehffahi School Library Gets a Makeover with BML Community Fund

With the help of the BML's Community Fund, the Sh. Bilehffahi School's library has been completed. Ismail Shareef, a school teacher, was in charge of the project where it included 700 new volumes, bookshelves, chairs, and tables as part of the makeover, providing a better study environment for pupils.

Ismail Shareef stated, “With the addition of both English and Dhivehi books and an improved reading environment, the project will help implement the school's current reading program. We have also been able to create an environment where more children can develop interest to read and learn. I would like to thank Bilehffahi Council, teachers, librarian, and those who supported us throughout the project.”

Education, the environment, sports, and community development are all themes that the Community Fund supports. For the second quarter of this year, the Bank is now assessing the bids received.
