VP Faisal Announces Plans for Additional Schools to Accommodate the Expanding Student Population

Vice President Faisal Naseem reiterated the administration's commitment to further enhancing the education sector, including the development of infrastructure to meet the sector's rising requirements, on Tuesday, June 13th. He made the statements during a ceremony in Hulhumalé to kick off the construction of the Ajial Bilingual School.
 
VP highlighted that five new school buildings are now in various stages of development in Hulhumalé alone, describing the development of the new school as an important addition to the administration's quest to provide quality and holistic education. Preschools are two of them.


 
Aljeri Holding Group, based in Kuwait, developed and manages the Ajial Bilingual School. The new school, which will have modern facilities, will be run as an international bilingual school for kids in lower kindergarten through twelfth grade, providing instruction in both English and Arabic. The project would be completed in two parts, with the first phase establishing primary and foundation important levels.
 
Under President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih's leadership, VP further emphasized the administration's commitment to strengthening educational and scholarly cooperation with local and international partners. He went on to say that the government's relationship with Al-Jeri Holding Group is crucial to the government's aims to diversify the teaching environment and discover ways to address the growing demand for high-quality education services.


 
Furthermore, VP also emphasized the need of safeguarding children's rights, particularly in the face of violence, exploitation, and abuse. "It is our responsibility as policymakers, parents, guardians, and community members to safeguard the safety and well-being of our children, the future of our country," he stated. "We must take every precaution to keep them safe in their homes, schools, and other places."
 
Concluding his speech, VP went on to say that the administration would do all possible to safeguard children from all sorts of maltreatment. He continued by saying that the Ajial Bilingual School, with its advanced teaching facilities, would be a great complement to the educational system and would help to train future generations of leaders.
