Fenaka Renews Power House in L.Maamendhoo After 35 Years!

Fenaka Maldives, a government-owned utility company providing electricity, water, and sewerage to the island communities of the Maldives, has officially renewed the power house in L.Maamendhoo after 35 long years with an aim of providing sustainable and equitable development to all the communities Fenaka serves.
 
The old power house, which only had 389.8 square meters, is now renewed with a brand-new office of 160 square meters equipped with admin office area, meeting room, rest room, pantry, manager room and a storage room. The power house that spans 252 square meters is equipped with a new control room, pantry, engine room, workshop, store room, chimney.
 
Fenaka had roudly announced that the new spacious power houses will now accommodate two 400kW Genset Diesel Engines and one 250 kW Genset Diesel Engine. This is the 56th power house that had been constructed by the aspiring company with so many more developments to come in the future. Fenaka aims to become a bench-marked utility service provider in the island nation where as the company has also been increasing their Solar Energy Generation simultaneously.
