MTCC Does It Again By Completing Coastal Protection Project of V.Rakeedhoo

Officially assigned on March 29th, 2021 by the Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure, Maldives Transport & Contracting Company (MTCC) has announced their project completion for the Coastal Protection works done in V.Rakeedhoo Island on May 25th, 2022.
 
Under this project that is worth MVR 10.1 Million, scope of works included installing of groyne in 40 meters, installing breakwater in 200 meters, building a swimming area of 560 cubic meters where groynes were installed in 20 meters and revetment installed in 25 meters area.


 
MTCC is the first and longest serving public company in the nation who have position themselves as the leading civil and marine constructor in the country. In this capacity, the company continues to successfully undertake multiple projects simultaneously across all parts of the Maldives – even with the difficulties posed by the ongoing pandemic.
