Five More Institutes to Provide Training Programs Under the COVID19 Income Support Project

Ministry of Economic Development has recently made headlines for signing a Memorandum of Understanding with five different Information and Communication Technology Course Providers to conduct training programs. The signing took place under the COVID19 Income Support Project.
 
The fully-funded government courses that had been signed on June 6th will be provided by Maldives National University (MNU), Villa College, Avid College, Cyryx College and MI College. The courses are Cloud & Cyber Security, Multi-Media, Server & Networking and Web Design & Development.
 
The Ministry in collaboration with the World Bank, had launched the training programs aimed at upskilling job seekers in priority trade areas by extending Certificate-level training opportunities that are both locally and internationally recognized through accredited Maldivian training institutes under the Maldives COVID-19 Emergency Income Support Project (MCEISP).
