Care Society starts New Venture to Train 100 Women with Disabilities

Care Society Maldives, a pioneering non-governmental organization, has made recent headlines for starting a new program targeting 100 women with disabilities. The inspiring NGO, has been educating children with disabilities for over 23 years, and now, they have started their amazing projects with women with disabilities, training them to advocate for their rights, be part of the development as well as the democratic process of the country.

 
Moreover, the program is even more encouraging as People with disabilities are leading facilitators in this inspiring event, their slogan being ‘Power to Persuade’ – one of a kind in the country, making history.

 
Care Society Maldives envisions a more inclusive future where persons with disabilities are provided an open forum in the communities across the country where they will be heard and inequality will be destroyed and they will be included in the communal decisions and future development.
