New Apprenticeship Program Now Available

Ministry of Economic Development signs a Memorandum of Understanding with the Public Service Media – the official state media in the country, opening up golden opportunities for those who are interested in Journalism to further enhance their knowledge via the newly opened Apprenticeship opportunities.
 
The Maldives COVID-19 Emergency Income Support Project (MCEISP) Apprenticeship Program aims to target certificate level training (apprenticeship programs approved by the Maldives National Skill Development Authority - MNSDA) with the important goal of ensuring skill-based training are geared toward wider reemployment and expanding workers' skill horizons.
 
Signing at the official ceremony that took place on May 30^th, on behalf of the Ministry was the Minister of State for Economic Development, Ms Niza Imad and signing on behalf of PSM was the Managing Director of PSM Mr Ali Khalid.
 
Three new opportunities opened for the program through this MoU is Assistant Producer (TV), Journalist / Newscaster and Assistant Presenter Producer all which will result in Certificate 3 in Journalism. If you’re interested in the opened slots, please apply before they get fully booked! Goodluck.
