New Changes Brought To Waste Disposal In Greater Male’ Area

Waster Management Corporation (WAMCO) has implemented new ways to dispose waste effectively from June on-wards, with a mission of managing waste in a more effective and a greener way.

Waste problems is one of the biggest harms to climate change contributors as of now in Maldives, hence with new implementations to dispose waste in a safe and an environmentally friendly manner has always been a priority for WAMCO.

In regards to that, effective from June 1st onward waste has to be separated as per the picture mentioned above. All plastics separate, organics (wet) waste separate and other waste separately.

WAMCO will also be placing new dustbins for these three waste categories separately across Greater Male’ Area. Hence, the public's full corporation is highly required in order to work together to make waste disposal more environmentally friendly.
