As part of the celebration for this year's World Telecommunications & Information Society Day, Ooredoo Maldives launched the "Israhvehinge Plan," a special Postpaid plan dedicated to the elderly community. Under this year's theme of "Digital Technologies for Older Persons and Healthy Aging," the plan was launched to enable, encourage, and boost adoption of digital technological usage among the elderly community.
At the special event, the package was launched by the Minister of Gender, Family & Social Services, Aishath Mohamed Didi. “Ooredoo's Senior Citizen "Post-paid" package is a great initiative which will make it a lot easier for the elderly community to navigate through and become a part of the digital world.” Expressed her insights, Minister Aishath.
The newly launched Israhvehinge Package for the elderly community offers up to a 30% discount on their chosen Postpaid monthly fee and free data dedicated to Viber to customers aged 60 and up to help them stay connected with their loved ones. Furthermore, all customers who purchase the package will receive Club Premier Gold membership benefits, such as special discounts and offers from a wide range of local and international brands and businesses.
