First an Apprentice, Then a Professional; HDC Will Willingly Take You Through This Journey!

Corporate Apprenticeship Program by Housing Development Corporation (HDC) accounts for an integral part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. The program in facilitated with an aim to create skilled workforce in the society which is true to their strategic pillar of developing a consonant community and socio-economic equity. It has been held on an annual basis since 2016, whereas 27 disciples have successfully completed the program and are serving HDC at different capacities.

Under the Apprenticeship Program, participants will undergo training to develop the skills of the chosen discipline, gain self-confidence, learn work ethic and level up their capacity from an apprentice to a professional. In this regard, they will have the opportunity to get trained in various fields such as gardening, masonry, welding, site supervision for building construction, electrical and heavy vehicle operation.

This year, they are pleased to announce the continuation of the program. Applications are currently opened and HDC invites interested eligible candidates to take a shot. This time around, 60 slots are available under the program which will be conducted for a period of 4 months. The deadline for applications is set to prior to 2pm on 30^th November 2020.
