‘Help Families Help Themselves.’ #sponsorafamily

MOMS NGO – a registered non-profit organization in the Maldives, founded with the objective of helping mothers across the country, is one of the most inspiring NGO’s till date. The group of volunteers are famous for the highly impactable initiatives they take in working to help mothers gain financial strength and stability.

Every family deserves the consistency in order to provide a happy and stable life for their children. MOMS NGO had introduced the country’s very first Family Sponsorship Program at the beginning of May where a sponsor pledges to a monthly allotment used for basic necessities such as food, clothing and medicines.

The goal with this initiative is to help a family help themselves as said by the NGO. Here, one donor family can sponsor a low-income family in need where their lives will be changed for the better. In hopes of building a community where an educated and a healthy child grows rather than a poor uneducated child will lead to a significant difference in building a safe environment for the future generations.

Until the family is able to stand on their own and support themselves, the NGO will keep assisting them until they reach this goal. Hence, the NGO urges more families to join the cause in order to help a family in need.
