Physical Works for Vaadhoo Water Project has Begun

At a special ceremony held on the 18th of April, FENAKA integrated the physical work of the water system in GDh. Vaadhoo.

The project was started officially by ENAKA Corporation's Managing Director Ahmed Saeed. He is a native of Vaadhoo. Others who were present included members of the Vaadhoo Council, as well as many citizens of the island.

Over the course of the next four months, pipes will be laid, cleaned and pressure testing and connection services to households will be given as well. In addition to this, according to the FENAKA Corporation, some works will be carried out by Male' Water and Sewerage Company (MWSC) under a sub-agreement.

During his speech at the ceremony, Saeed mentioned that FENAKA will be introducing 18-liter dispenser bottles that can be used with water dispensers once the project is completed.
