A.Dh. Dhidhdhoo Development Talks were Held on Thursday

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih met with members of the Dhidhdhoo Island Council of South Ari Atoll at the President's Office.  During the meeting, the councilors expressed gratitude and thanked the government for continuing developmental projects amidst a global pandemic.

The councilors shared their concerns and the pertinent needs of Dhidhdhoo residents with the President. They relayed information about areas of concern, such as issues related to the harbor, beach erosion, upgrading health services on the island, and the lack of space in the school and Council Office. The socio-economic development of the island and matters concerning youth development were also highlighted at the meeting.

Addressing the councilors' concerns, President Solih said that a technical survey would be conducted to determine the best solution to the harbor and beach erosion problem. He assured the council members that the government would consult with relevant authorities and identify ways to address these concerns after. The President reiterated the government's commitment to implementing equitable development projects across the country.
