MTCC Continues to Strive Forward in Projects for a Better Future

Ceremonies have been held last week for the commencement of physical works for two projects by one of the leading contracting companies in the nation, Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC).

The first project is the Hdh. Kumundhoo Harbor Channel. In attendance at the ceremony were Makunudhoo MP Mohamed Raee, along with CEO Adam Azim and senior officials of MTCC.

This project is valued at MVR 35.38 million and includes 9346.56 cbm of new harbor basin dredging operations, 4954.91 cbm of entrance channel dredging operations, construction of a 142m breakwater, and 198m revetment.

The second one is the Ha. Baarah Channel and Maintenance Dredging Project. The ceremony was graced by the presence of MP Ahmed Abdulla, as well as CEO Adam Azim, and senior officials of MTCC.

The project is valued at VR 12.17 million and the works include channel dredging operations of 28,101 cbm, basin maintenance dredging operations of 3546 cbm, and installation of navigational aids.
