L. Gan Thundi Avah Harbor has been Inaugurated

On the 29th of March, the inauguration of the new L. Gan Thundi Avah Harbor was held as a ceremony and the physical work of the harbor had started that day.

It was inaugurated by MP Mohamed Wisaam, and the Chief Executive Officer of Maldives Transport and Contracting Company Plc (MTCC), along with senior officials of MTCC participated in the ceremony as well.

This MVR 24.71 million project consisted of the construction of a 360m breakwater, a 310m quay wall, a 2501 sqm harbor pavement, a bridge, and the installation of streetlights.

This will allow transportation on the island to become smoother, which in turn lets islanders move forward to better and brighter futures.
