MTCC has signed an agreement with the Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure - Maldives towards the implementation of the L. Gan Coastal Protection Project.
Signing the contracts, on behalf of MTCC, General Manager Shifau Ali and one behalf of the Ministry. L. Gan Constituency, Ms. Zeeniya Hameed. MP Mohamed Wisaam also graced the ceremony.
With a value of MVR 11.52 million, the scope of works for this project include, the construction of a 30m revetment, a 260m groynes, and 10,007 cbm beach filling operations. MTCC has been tasked to complete this project within 180 days.
Within the past 3 years, MTCC has been involved in building piers, reclamation projects, and 42 projects to assist in the protection of shores all across the country.
