Cue sports might not be a very popular sport locally in comparison to some others, but that does not decrease its value. The current administration pretty much affirms this view whereas they have made tireless effort to build a world class billiard facility at the Hulhumale’ Sports Complex. The ultimate result of this, the Hulhumale’ Billiard House, was inaugurated by the Vice President, Mr. Faisal Naseem last night. He was joined by the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment, Mr. Ahmed Mahloof, High Commissioner of India to the Maldives, Mr. Shri Sujay Sudhir, Hulhumale’ Constituency Parliament Member, Mr. Ali Niyaz and officials from the Maldives Pool and Billiards Association.
