Special Health Care Trainings in Collaboration with WHO

The first-ever program to build the capacity of doctors & nurses in providing emergency critical care was initiated by the Ministry of Health in the Maldives. The 6-day training is held at Kulhudhuffushi Regional Hospital by codeBLUE in collaboration with WHO Maldives.

There will be a variety of skill-based training included in the program and they include, airway management, hemodynamic monitoring in critical care, emergency trauma life support., advanced cardiovascular life support., pediatric life support.

The main purpose of this training is to improve the knowledge and skills of clinical staff in emergency care and equip them with the ability to make quick and accurate decisions in stabilizing and treating patients.

The target of the program is to train a minimum of 24 from each atoll who will be certified as ACLS providers at the end of successful completion of the training program.
