'Help a Family' Initiative Donated to by BML

Today, the Bank of Maldives staff donated a large number of essential food items for the ‘Help a Family’ initiative organized by MOMS to support vulnerable families during Ramazan.

This donation will allow the NGO to help 100 vulnerable families across the country. Staff extended their spirit of giving to positively impact the community through this initiative.

MOMS NGO commented, “ We express heartfelt gratitude to Bank of Maldives staff for their extraordinary and generous aid, and applaud their commitment to improving the lives and livelihood of the society.“

MVR 100,000 was donated to the ARC AID program in 2021 to assist vulnerable families during Ramadan, and MVR 200,000 was donated to assist vulnerable children during the Covid-19 pandemic by the Bank. These funds supported over 500 children and 300 vulnerable families in 14 islands.
