BML Spent Day of Happiness Spent Bringing Joy to Others

To mark the annually celebrated Day of Happiness on the 20th of March, many Bank of Maldives staff joined together and held a clean-up event at the Male' Swimming Track and Hulhumale' Phase 2.

This event went along smoothly through the harmonious partnership of the Swimming Association of Maldives, Parley, Dive Desk and Dive Club Maldives during the morning of the 18th, from 6 am to 9 am.

A total of 660 kg of debris and waste was collected from both locations including 75 kg of plastic which was delivered to Parley for recycling. 

Over 80 BML volunteers participated in the community work carried out today. Last year, BML celebrated the day by doing various activities to support local communities in V. Felidhoo, L. Fonadhoo, and HDh. Kulhudhuffushi.
