Dhiraagu has signed as the exclusive Digital Partner of Maldives Bodyboarding Association (MBBA).
The telecom company is always looking for new ways to lend their support to the youth, and such, are more than happy to support the bodyboarding community in the Maldives to develop next-generation athletes and revive the excitement for the sport across all communities of the nation.
This year, MBBA has announced to host a National Bodyboarding League for the first time in the Maldives where the association will kick off their first tournament of the league from 20 – 30 March 2022 at Raalhugandu. This will also be the first time the association will be using a digital scoring system in a Bodyboarding competition in the Maldives. MBBA has released its event schedule for the year where Dhiraagu will be assisting the association as a Digital Partner. Additionally, this year, MBBA has also expanded the tournament to include a women’s division in the league for the first time in bodyboarding history in the Maldives.
