This International Women's Day, Dhiraagu made a commitment with a renewed focus on gender equality to advance women's empowerment.
The new plan was announced by CEO and MD, Mr. Ismail Rasheeed t=at a special gathering today.

He also stated that Dhiraagu wholeheartedly agrees with this year's theme for Women's Day and is committed to strengthening efforts on gender action towards a sustainable tomorrow.
The key initiatives which the company would focus on were also communicated with staff regarding flexible working, returnship guidelines, structured mentorship and coaching, increasing female representation in technical roles, in apprenticeship programs, and in managerial roles.
For the day, mothers who work at the company were encouraged to bring their kids to show them around, inspire them and show them how amazing they were during working hours. They were allowed to take them on tour, meet colleagues and play fun games whilst celebrating the day together.
Dhiraagu always celebrates the fact that they have no gender discrimination and equal opportunities for both genders. They even established a Women Empowerment Committee to further advance gender equality and create growth and development opportunities in the company back in 2019. And in 2020, they went a step further by helping new mothers to transition back into work with the opening of a Mother's Room in the company.
IN addition to all this, the company has always supported initiatives to inspire and uplift women in their CSR programs, and several such programs have already been planned for the year.
