MSS Ambitiously Aims to Venture into the International Sphere, Says CEO and MD of STO Amru

CEO and Managing Director of State Trading Organization, Husen Amru has shared the company's ambitious vision to expand its business to the unexplored industries in the Maldives and go beyond the nation's borders.

Speaking to the public on a media program, Amru stated that STO's most recent launch of Maldives State Shipping is now working towards expanding their services to the international sphere. In a short span of time, the service has gained the trust and support of the local public with high standards of service. He also stated the largest vessel in the MSS fleet is due to arrive soon, further spanning hope for its growth.

Explaining the benefits of expansion, Amru highlighted the significant impact it will have on maintaining foreign currency within the nation. It will also help regulate prices of international shipping services.

In February, STO announced opening its supermarket to the local SMEs, allowing the small businesses to generate sales and profit with STO. The company has been implementing milestone changes involving the public under the guidance of Amru, and looks forward to maintaining its steady climb upwards in times to come.
