Are You Excited To Get Your Hands On These Brand New Book Publications By Villa College?

Villa College was thrilled to launch 3 books yesterday; its own Research Digest and two Shari'a books. The books were launched in a special ceremony held at the College, yesterday.

According to the Dean of Research of the Institute for Research and Innovation Faculty of Villa College, Dr. Ahmed Shahid, the ‘VC Research Digest’ in an initiative to encourage and develop a research culture in the country aiming to garner more interest for the field through its readers. The book was launched by the Rector of Villa College, Dr. Ahmed Anwar.

The two Shari'a books launched were titled “Faseyha Nerun – Tharika ah Vanun” and “Aailaa aai behey Fiqh” in Dhivehi language. It was launched by its author, Uz. Ibrahim Rasheed Moosa who remarks that the purpose of writing the books were in hopes to help students and interested people with educational aspects in mind.

In addressing the audience during the ceremony, the Rector of the College expressed its aim and aspirations to continue contributing to the education and awareness of the country through more than just one mean. In this regard, he notes the impact literature itself would create in the community.

The books will be available from Villa College, presently. We hope to see the launch of more publications from the College is different areas in the future!
