Projects and Updates for MTCC

MTCC has signed agreements with the Ministry of National Planning, Housing, and Infrastructure for two projects; Maldives towards implementation of N. Kudafari Shore Protection Project; the Maldives towards implementation of Hdh. Kulhudhuffushi Airport Shore Protection Project. 

CEO Adam Azim signed on behalf of MTCC and Ms. Fathimath Shaana Farooq, DG, signed on behalf of the Ministry.

The Maldives towards implementation of N. Kudafari Shore Protection Project has a value of 15.01 million. The scope of the project includes the construction of a 718m revetment. It is to be completed within 300 days.

The Maldives towards implementation of Hdh. Kulhudhuffushi Airport Shore Protection Project has a value of 42.37 million. The scope of the project includes the construction of an 882m revetment and a 30m groyne. It is to be completed within 200 days.

Along with these two projects, they announced the completion of Sh. Feevah Harbor Development Project on 29 Jan 2022.

It has a value of 67.6 million, and the scope of work included dredging operations of 40,420 cbm, channel dredging operations of 14,743 cbm, construction of a 474m quay wall, a 356m breakwater, 182m revetment, 27m groyne, and installation of 2320sqm harbor pavement, navigation lights, and streetlights.
