MACL Begins Aerodrome Control Course

Maldives Airports Company Ltd is proud to have installed the Aerodrome Simulator and is to begin the country’s first-ever Aerodrome Control course.

The course is an MCAA-approved course that will be conducted to international standards set by International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).

The 9-week program is planned to be taught and executed by international and national instructors.

An aerodrome simulator is the computer-based modeling of any real process involved with an airport. This is will help Maldivian air traffic controllers to be prepared for any situation which may arise, as the country opens up to newer airlines to increase the number of tourists who come to the Maldives each year.
