Renew Your Shipping Agent via the Customs Portal

 Customs Maldives has now made it possible to renew your shipping agent registration online. Users will receive a notification message once they log into the Customs Portal, 7 days before their license’s expiry date. Relevant forms must be submitted to the Customs Office before the license expires.

From then, all they have to do is click on the Renewal Shipping Agent link where they will be directed to a BML Payment Gateway. Once the payment is made, they will receive payment confirmation in real-time, and the Broker License is renewed for a year from the date of payment. All services will be activated automatically.

Customs stated that if the shipping agency’s license issued by the Transport Ministry expires before the license is renewed, it is the responsibility of the agent to submit the relevant letter to Customs after renewing the license.
