Minister Çavuşoğlu visits the Maldives.

For the first time, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye, Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu is making an official visit to the Maldives. His visit is from 28 – 30 January 2022, at the invitation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, Abdulla Shahid.

During this visit, Minister Çavuşoğlu will pay a courtesy call on the President of the Republic of Maldives, Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, and Speaker of the People’s Majlis, President Mohamed Nasheed. Minister Çavuşoğlu will also hold official talks with his counterpart Minister Shahid and sign several key agreements between Maldives and Türkiye.
