Maldivian Seeks Mechanic Interns

With a fleet of 23 aircraft, Island Aviation Service Limited is one of the leading airlines in the Maldives. IN addition to catering to the maintenance of the IASL fleet, the IASL Engineering department provides line maintenance services to most of the airlines which operate out of Maldives. They provide a variety of certified services.

By joining the maintenance team, those hoping to get selected will have the opportunity to get maintenance experience in all of the aircraft types that the IASL engineering department provides maintenance for, paving a solid foundation for their career in the aviation field.

Details for the internship are as follows;
Responsibilities

  • Responsible for carrying out aircraft maintenance under the guidance from authorized Engineers and in accordance with company and manufacture procedures and in accordance with MCAR145 regulations.
  • Supporting Engineers in performing planned maintenance tasks, defect identification, and the consequent rectification of the identified defects.
  • Attending and providing line maintenance services to the customer airlines operating in the Maldives.
  • Preparing the required tools, spares, equipment’s required to carry out maintenance tasks as instructed by Engineers.

Requirments

  • Preferably having completed an AME from an approved location or degree/diploma course in a technical field.
  • Being able to work well unsupervised and as a member of a team.
  • Possess good interpersonal skills with proficiency in spoken and written English language
  • Positive working attitude
  • Willing to work shifts, including night shift.
  • Flexible to work in a fast-changing environment and able to work long and odd hours
  • Having prior relevant experience is an added advantage.


The working location would be Velana International Airport.
