Take Caution when Traveling Through Rough Waters

Both Maldives Meteorology and Maldives National Defense Force (MNDP) have strongly advised to be cautious while engaging in marine activities.

A report generated on 18^th January 2022, has shown very strong ocean currents which are prevailing over the Maldives area, especially over central and southern atolls. All those who choose to engage in marine activities during these conditions are strongly advised to be extra cautious.
