MOU Signed to Train More Technicians in the Health Sector

Due to the lack of automotive technicians in the health industry, the Ministry of Health signs a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Maldives Polytechnic to train technicians needed for the industry. The agreement was signed by the Minister of Health and Minister Dr. Ibrahim Hassan.

Under this agreement, 18 technicians from the health sector will undergo a 3-month automotive maintenance training program. The purpose of this program is to increase the skills of the technicians who work in the health industry and consequently make it easier to for vehicles such as ambulances to be repaired at a lower cost.
