A ceremony was held yesterday at its main campus for the introduction of Masters of Laws (LLM) in Commercial Law – scheduled begin during the January 2021 intake. The Chief Justice of Maldives, Honorable Uz. Ahmed Muthasim Adnan special guested the ceremony and had the honor to launch the program.
Masters of Laws (LLM) in Commercial Law is offered by Villa College in partnership with the University of West of England (UWE). It is approved by the Maldives National Qualification Authority at Level 9. The course duration is 1 year and is designed to amplify students’ understanding of the law relating to its core aspects. The college also reports that students will be given direct access to online libraries and resources of UWE.
Those who addressed the audience during the ceremony noted that the introduction of this program is extremely beneficial at the moment as it provides a chance to attain a certificate from a university in the United Kingdom whilst remaining at our homeland.
