Want To Become an Atoll Youth Climate Leader? Sign Up Today!

Are you a passionate and committed young leader who aims to champion climate action in the community? The ADB Youth for Asia project is looking for you! 
 
Applications are now open for local young leaders to become Atoll Youth Climate Leaders (AYCL). 15 youngsters will be selected from each of the four atoll nations which includes Kiribati, Maldives, Marshall Islands and Tuvalu. This is an awesome opportunity to learn from likeminded international young adults and share the experiences and stories on how you too can become a leader. 
 
Irrelevant of your background or past experience, the opportunity is open for all to join in meaningful engagement and empower each other in the quest on becoming drivers of change in climate action.  
 
A series of trainings based on capacity building will take place among selected participants. They are themed as follows: 

• Climate change and innovation 
• Climate risk and data collection 
• Youth and community facilitation 
• Ethics and safeguards 

 
At the end of the program, all participants will receive a certificate of completion endorsed by ADB Youth for Asia.
