Water & Sewerage Projects Signed For 23 Islands

Ministry of National Planning, Housing & Infrastructure holds ceremony, at the STELCO auditorium, with organizations and the President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih in attendance to inaugurate water & sewerage projects in 23 different local islands.
 
The agreements consist of 16 sewerage projects and 23 water projects. The Planning Ministry awarded the projects to Fenaka Corporation (16 Water Projects & 5 Sewerage Projects), STELCO (1 Water Project), Marketech Maldives (3 Water Projects & 2 Sewerage Projects), Duplex Pvt Ltd (2 Water & Sewerage Projects) and Sas E-Construction (1 Water & Sewerage Project).

 
Speaking at the signing ceremony, President Solih shared his enthusiasm over the newly signed projects, promising a better future for every resident of the country. He emphasized on no discrimination policy when it comes to basic needs like water facilities and sewerage facilities in local islands in such an advanced era.
