Central Power Station Connecting 3 Islands In Laamu Atoll Inaugurated

Fenaka Corporation Limited has taken initiative in building a Central Power Station in Laamu Atoll, connecting L.Isdhoo island, L.Kalaidhoo island & L.Dhanbidhoo island.
 
The Central Power Station features a Technical Office Space, Meeting Room, 1.2 Megawatt 5 Beds, Battery Room, Control Room and a Basement. The Grid Interconnection will feature a State-of-the-Art modern power plant with SCADA system, Medium voltage grid with Distribution Automation, Total 15km of medium voltage (11kv) cable for new MV Grid, Total 9.8km of low voltage (LV) cable for LV grid upgrade and total 6 nos x distribution substation at load centers.

 
The ground breaking ceremony for the Central Power Station was graced by the Managing Director of Fenaka Corportation, Ahmed Saeed, Parliament member of Laamu Gan District, Mohamed Visaam, Council President of L.Kalaidhoo Island, Ahmed Shiyam and the Council President of L.Dhanbidhoo Island, Ibrahim Mimraah.
