WOW Kidz Run Successfully Ends With A Huge Donation!

Bank of Maldives in association with Total Fitness Group, Maldives successfully completes the bank’s annual, WOW Kidz Run with an incredible donation made to Maldives Association of Persons with Disabilities.
 
With a total of 900 kids from four different age groups running for the greater course, the event took place at Hulhumale’ city this morning, December 25^th, 2021.

 
Depending on the age group, the events ranged from 1.3 to 4-kilometer runs & medals were given to all participants who completed the race. The BML Wow Kidz Run is a huge hit with both kids and their parents!

 
The incredible donation of MVR 100,000 was handed over to MAPD by the Chairperson of BML, Yooshau Saeed and People & Change Director of BML, Sahar Waheed. The donation will be put towards running MAPD’s Healthy PWD Program where children with disabilities will gain access to physiotherapy, behavior, speech & occupational therapy.
 
Expressing her enthusiasm over the successful event, the Deputy CEO of BML, Aishath Noordeen emphasized the importance of staying active and healthy along with encouraging generations of all age groups to adopt such lifestyles.
