Health Ministry Signs An MOU With Indonesia To Improve Health Sector In Maldives

A virtual signing ceremony took place on December 20th in which the Ministry of Health in Maldives signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Ministry of Health in Indonesia in regards to improve the health sector in Maldives.
 
The Health Minister of Maldives, Ahmed Naseem signed on behalf of Maldives with The Health Minister of Indonesia, Budi Gunadi Sadikin signed on behalf of Indonesia.

 
Under this agreement, Indonesia will assist Maldives in establishing a collaborative mechanism to share knowledge, initiative expert visits, strengthen health regulatory capacity and provide support in mutually agreed areas in the health sector.
 
Additionally, experts in health sectors exchange programs, developing skills of nurses and doctors will also be opened for both nationalities under the MOU.
